Artist. Farmer. Landscaper. Teacher. Living on Georgetown Island, Maine Kate enjoys walking in the woods and on the beaches with her dogs.

Live & Grow Farm is where Kate garners inspiration from her goatie goats, entertaining chickens and native plants.

Kate’s chosen medium of colored pencils allows her to capture the wonderful, fine, layered details of plants. She makes it seem as if an observer of her painting could pluck the subject right off of the paper.
